I am not writing these things to shame you, but to warn you as my beloved children.
1 Corinthians 4:14
Paul reminded the Corinth Christians that he and the others have been:
In other words, there’s no glamor, fame, and notoriety for the follower of Christ, and if there is, without experiencing any suffering or trouble at all, you have a serious problem: spiritual pride.
The line is blurred between followers of Christ, and embracers of the world’s system. Sadly, the ruler of the world has sold us a bill of goods, we can have:

Paul hasn’t written to shame them, but to warn them. They are in danger, significant spiritual danger – pride.
A few questions to ask myself.
Am I a Corinth Christian? Have I fallen for Satan’s schemes to believe that I can have what the world offers, while also fulfilling what the cross requires? Which do I desire more?
