God said speak to, not strike the rock.
I can never mature so much in my faith that I can believe that I can:
- Act on my own.
- Think God and I are in this together.
- Slide on exact obedience.
- Expect not to be disciplined.
- Take credit for something God did.
- Share His glory.
If I don’t stay humble, I will be humbled.
One is unclean when they are physically near a dead body.
- This is the ritual law that applies when someone dies inside a tent: All those who enter that tent and those who were inside when the death occurred will be ceremonially unclean for seven days.
Numbers 19:14
The spiritually dead can affect the spiritually clean.
- Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
