One night Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers about it, they hated him more than ever.
Genesis 37:5
- Does God still speak through dreams and visions?
- What do I do with dreams and visions that I see?
- Do only certain religions believe in dreams and visions from God?
- Am I a less than Christian because I don’t have dreams and visions?

Acts 2:17
(Quoting Joel 2:28-32)
Examples of Dreamers and visions
- Job
For God speaks in one way, and in two, though man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, while they slumber on their beds.

And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.
Matthew 2:12 (ESV) - Paul

Acts 16:9 (ESV) - Pharaoh

Genesis 41:1 (ESV) - Daniel

Daniel 7:1 (ESV)
So, again, what do we do with our dreams?
- Confirm them with God. (This might take some time.)
- Keep them to yourself, mostly. (Share only with select free Spirit-filled-Bible living people.)
- Err on the side of obedience. (I would rather act in faith, with the right motive, than sit and do nothing.)
- Proceed with caution. (Don’t jump in with both feet)
- Pray and seek with every step you take.
