There may be a sincere desire to lead a religious life, and yet the mind is taken up with petty details, and the things of this world. How we handle God’s ordained delays is a good measure of our spiritual maturity.

A weak faith:

• Is vulnerable to the weakness of others.
• Crushes when under pressure.
• Succumbs to social demands.
• Follows its own way when God delays.
• Turns to other gods when God disappoints.

When I: 

• Do things that honor God, my faith will be strong.
• Spend time with God in prayer and His Word, my faith will be strong.
• Seek to build and fill Heaven rather than earth, my faith will be strong.
• Yield to Spirit’s guidance instead of my field, my faith will be strong.
