And give these rebels, the people of Israel, this message from the Sovereign LORD: O people of Israel, enough of your detestable sins!
Ezekiel 44:6
Now say to the rebellious, to the house of Israel, âThus says the LORD God: âO house of Israel, let Us have no more of all your abominations.
Ezekiel 44:6 (NKJV)
We bear the consequences of our unfaithfulness to God when we:
Fail to nourish our faith and protect the sacraments of our faithÂ
Refuse to guard our gates
Allow personal relationships with those who have no heart from GodÂ
Permit idol worship
Sin, all sin, intentional, by error, or in ignorance must be atoned for.
Do this also on the seventh day of the new year for anyone who has sinned through error or ignorance. In this way, you will purify the Temple.
Ezekiel 45:20
Live rightly and experience the generous blessing and favor that is associated with faithfulness rather than bear the consequences of unfaithfulness.
