âTherefore, tell the exiles, âThis is what the Sovereign LORD says: Although I have scattered you in the countries of the world, I will be a sanctuary to you during your time in exile."
Ezekiel 11:16
Do you hear the tenderness of our Heavenly Father? He takes full responsibility and makes no apologies about the exile of the Israelites. Yet, He comforts them with these tender words. Let's read them again. (Read them aloud.)
"I will be a sanctuary to you during your time of exile."
We can count on HisÂ
Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations.
Psalm 90:1 ESV
In the sanctuary we:
I wonder how God selected who to spare.
But I will spare a few of them from death by war, famine, or disease, so they can confess all their detestable sins to their captors. Then they will know that I am the LORD.â
Ezekiel 12:16
