My Takeaways

Something Old

She (Jerusalem) has (NKJV):

not obeyed His voice
not received correction
not trusted in the Lord
not drawn near to her God

Even if/when I am:

not obedient
not correctable
not unfaithful
not approachable

He never leaves me.

But the LORD is still there in the city, Zephaniah 3:5a
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5b (ESV)

He does not ever fail me.

Day by day he hands down justice, and he does not fail. Zephaniah 3:5b
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 (ESV)

Something New

Leadership matters.

Its prophets are arrogant liars seeking their own gain. Its priests defile the Temple by disobeying God’s instructions.

Sing praises of His marvelous and endless grace.
