This generation learned from the mistakes of the past generation:

Their ancestors:

• Weren’t impressed by the LORD’s miraculous deeds (Psalm 106:7)
• Forgot His acts of kindness (Psalm 106:7)
• Rebelled against Him (Psalm 106:7)
• Quickly forgot all He had done (Psalm 106:13)
• Would not wait on His counsel (Psalm 106:13)
• Let their desires run wild (Psalm 106:14)
• Gave them what they asked for (Psalm 106:15)
• Demonstrated jealousy of their leaders (Psalm 106:16)
• Traded their glorious God for idols (Psalm 106:20)
• Forgot God (Psalm 106:21)
• Refused to trust God (Psalm 106:25)
• Joined the worship of Baal (Psalm 106:28)
• Sacrificed their sons and daughters (Psalm 106:37)
• Defiled themselves with evil deeds (Psalm 106:39)
• Rebelled against God after He rescued them (Psalm 106:43)

Don’t do what they did. Learn from their mistakes…. their sin.
