The title means someone who has the power to exercise absolute dominion over all His realm.
In the end, all other rulers will be conquered or abolished.
He alone will reign supreme as King and Lord of all the earth.
There is no power greater.
There is no king higher.
There is no lord who can oppose Him and win.
In the book of Revelation, the Kingship of Jesus is made manifest
Revelation 5 shows us Jesus is the only one in all creation found worthy to open the scroll.
Revelation 11 proclaims that the kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of Christ.
He will reign forever and ever.
Psalm 47 reminds us of the central truth of all Scripture.
Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords.
We can wait to praise Him…or we can start now.
He reigns above it all.
