In that wonderful day when the LORD gives His people rest from sorrow and fear, from slavery and chains.Â
Isaiah 14:3
God’s rest is foundÂ
- Salvation (Hebrews 4:1)
- Stillness from his own work (Hebrews 4:10)Â
- Striving for obedience. (Hebrews 4:11)
- Submission to Him. (James 4:7)
- Service to others. (Galatians 5:14)
- Sabbath surrender. (Genesis 2:3)
Experience this rest of the future right now by
- Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.
Psalm 55:22 (NASB) - ‍Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.
1 Peter 5:7 (AMPC)‍ - ‍Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.
