Then Elisha prayed, “O LORD, open his eyes and let him see!” The LORD opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire.

The servant saw what He saw.
The servant did not see what Elisha saw.
Elisha prayed:
The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts up those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous.
Psalm 146:8 (ESV)Â
Lord, open my eyes to see what you think I need to see.
Lord, open my mind to know what you think I need to know.
Lord, open my ears to hear what you think I need to hear.
And help me trust you for what I don’t see, don’t know, and don’t hear
There’s no mention of the woman’s husband.
So, the woman did as the man of God instructed. She took her family and settled in the land of the Philistines for seven years.
2 Kings 8:2
Pray the prayer and mean it.
