The priest will then take some of the blood of the guilt offering and apply it to the lobe of the right ear, the thumb of the right hand, and the big toe of the right foot of the person being purified.

Leviticus 14:14

The leper, now cleansed, is consecrated like the priests. Blood was applied to the right:

• Ear, to hear God first.
• Thumb, to do God’s will first.
• Foot, big toe, to follow God’s ways.

• A hearing ear.
• An active hand.
• A nimble foot.

After waiting thirty-three days, she will be purified from the bleeding of childbirth.

Blood purifies after birth.

Jesus’ shed blood purified me when I was born again.

Pray to have a hearing ear to hear God, an active hand to do God’s will, and a nimble foot to follow God’s path.
