But tormented by thirst, they continued to argue with Moses. “Why did you bring us out of Egypt? Are you trying to kill us, our children, and our livestock with thirst?”

Then Moses and the people of Israel sang this song to the LORD:
Exodus 15:1a 

They had just seen God 

• Part a sea.
• Wipe away their enemies.
• Make bitter water drinkable.
• Send food from heaven.

 and now they are complaining again. “If only” spills from their lips.

How quickly does my: 

• Praise turn to protest?
• Trust turn to doubt?
• Joy turn to anger?
• Belief to unbelief?

Gratitude can transform:

• Protest to praise.
• Doubt to trust.
• Sorrow to joy.
• Unbelief to belief.

Gratitude is an attitude adjuster, and the will of God.

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 

And now Give Thanks

The Lord instructed  Moses to ask the elders to join him at the rock.

The LORD said to Moses, “Walk out in front of the people. Take your staff, the one you used when you struck the water of the Nile, and call some of the elders of Israel to join you.
