Just ask the previous generation. Pay attention to the experience of our ancestors.

Job 8:8

But those who came before us will teach you. They will teach you the wisdom of old.

Learn from the past, don’t live in it.

This is what the LORD says: Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it.
Jeremiah 6:16a 

• Seek the Lord.
• Stay in His Word.
• Don’t search social media for counsel.
• Talk to people who have walked, and are walking in the ways of the Lord.
• Pray about the counsel.
• Move forward as the Lord leads.

Be encouraged by the past, not embalmed by it.
