Give my greetings…

Roman 16:3a

Warren Wiersbe calls the list of people in Romans 16:21-24, “a grand list of veterans.”

• Paul recognized that ministry isn’t meant to be a solo act.
• We need each other to advance the gospel and grow the Kingdom.
• We aren’t all called to be a Paul, but we will all, at some point, be in the position to help.
• My name may or may not be listed somewhere, but every act of service is valuable and counter toward the mission.

Today, reach out to someone who helped you, in a big or small way.

Just like we ask friends to pray for us, Paul asked his friends to pray for him.

Dear brothers and sisters, I urge you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to join in my struggle by praying to God for me. Do this because of your love for me, given to you by the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:30

Just like we ask friends for specific prayers, Paul asked his friends for specific prayers.

Pray that I will be rescued from those in Judea who refuse to obey God. Pray also that the believers there will be willing to accept the donation I am taking to Jerusalem. Then, by the will of God, I will be able to come to you with a joyful heart, and we will be an encouragement to each other.
Romans 15:31-32

Lord, I thank You today for all those who helped me in ministry all these years.
