The passing of time is the test of our revival.

What is my response when the joy of the revival, when the strength I experienced in the days after the revival weakens?

• Do we give the enemy a room in our Temple?
• Do we forget the commitment we made to the Lord? (Look back at Nehemiah 10 to review the vows they made to the Lord, and the curse they made on themselves.)

It is very easy and quick to fall apart after a personal revival. 

• Life happens.
• Trouble knocks. 
• Our enemy is persistent.  

To maintain our revival faith, we must 

• Maintain a commitment to God’s read, study, and obey God’s Word.
• Sit under solid Biblical teaching, and Biblical sound leadership.

Nehemiah led the leaders of, not one, but two choirs and organized them to give thanks. It appears Nehemiah was willing to do whatever needed to be done.

I led the leaders of Judah to the top of the wall and organized two large choirs to give thanks. One of the choirs proceeded southward along the top of the wall to the Dung Gate.
