Praise the LORD!

Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heaven!
Praise him for his mighty works;
praise his unequaled greatness!
Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn;
praise him with the lyre and harp!
Praise him with the tambourine and dancing;
praise him with strings and flutes!
Praise him with a clash of cymbals;
praise him with loud clanging cymbals.
Let everything that breathes sing praises to the LORD!

Psalm 150

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good!
His faithful love endures forever.
Psalm 136:1

• The book of Psalms shows us the cries of the heart of the people of God. 
• Psalm 150 is the final chapter. 
• As people who have struggled with doubts, fears, questions, and faith…we end with praise. 
• “Praise the LORD” = Hallelujah
• Hallelujah = Alleluia
• It is a call to worship and a call to action. 
• Hallel = to shine a light on
• We are to shine a light on the One True God. 
• We are to shine a light in His sanctuary. 
• We are to shine a light in His mighty firmament. 
• We are to shine a light on Him for His mighty acts. 
• We are to shine a light on Him for His excellent greatness. 
• How are we to shine a light? 
• Praise is an overflow of the heart.
