My Takeaways

Something Old

Warren Wiersbe’s nickname for King Joash was “leaner.” He leaned on Jehoiada for his spiritual stability. When Jehoiada died, it seems the spiritual strength of Jehoiada died also.

Who am I living for?
Why do I obey God?
Who is holding me spiritually, speaking?

Leaning on the spiritual strength and wisdom of another Believer is only wrong when it prohibits my own spiritual growth.
