Hannah was in deep anguish, crying bitterly as she prayed to the Lord.
1 Samuel 1:10

"Oh, thank you, sir!" she exclaimed. Then she went back and began to eat again, and she was no longer sad.

No longer be sad the Hannah way

• Pray to the Lord
• Pour out your heart to Him

I wonder why Eli didn’t discipline his sons. 

Discipline is a great preventer of future problems.

I have warned him that judgment is coming upon his family forever, because his sons are blaspheming God and he hasn’t disciplined them.
