Do I Have Stinky Faith?

Jesus replied, A person who has bathed all over does not need to wash, except for the feet, to be entirely clean. And you disciples are clean, but not all of you.

John 13:10

My Takeaways

Something Old

“The priest of God, when consecrated first, was washed from head to foot, and so baptized into the service of the sanctuary; but each time he went to offer sacrifice he washed his feet and his hands in the brazen laver.” - Charles Spurgeon

How often do I wash my feet?

Wash my feet by:

  • Renewing my mind with the Word of God.
  • Repenting of my sins to restore my communication with God.
  • Recommitting myself of righteousness and holy living because of God.

Something New

I wonder why Jesus selected the Upper Room.

On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb is sacrificed, Jesus’ disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go to prepare the Passover meal for you?”
Mark 14:12

Something To Do

Keep my feet clean.
