• Sometimes God will answer our prayer with yes, even though it’s not His best for us.
• God’s yes to our prayer will benefit us in the long run, but then it may take a while to get to the good.
• Pray in alignment with God’s will, even when we don’t know what that is.
• Motives matter. (like the other nations)

How to pray:

• Saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”

• Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

• Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
