When we have eyes for our King, we will have eyes of the King. We will see the needs of other with our physical eyes, and meet their needs with the eyes of heart and acts of hand.
Josiah was a King who had eyes for the King. He
- Lived well.
- Took care of the poor and needy.
His son Jehoiakim has eyes for himself. He
- Lived in splendor.
- Showed no regard for others.
About our eyes
- I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me.
