The Sovereign LORD is my strength!He makes me as surefooted as a deer,able to tread upon the heights.

Habakkuk 3:19

I will climb up to my watchtower
   and stand at my guardpost.
There I will wait to see what the LORD says
   and how he will answer my complaint.
Habakkuk 2:1

Habakkuk knew God would be faithful to answer, and waited for Him.

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms,
   and there are no grapes on the vines;
even though the olive crop fails,
   and the fields lie empty and barren;
even though the flocks die in the fields,
   and the cattle barns are empty,
yet I will rejoice in the LORD!
   I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
The Sovereign LORD is my strength!
   He makes me as surefooted as a deer,
   able to tread upon the heights.
Habakkuk 3:17-19

• Though everything looked bleak and barren, Habakkuk knew that the Lord was still faithful, still helping him, still guiding him, and sustaining him.
• Habakkuk respectfully complained to God, leaning into the Lord’s love and faithfulness, trusting in His goodness despite tragedy.
• God did not condemn Habakkuk for his honest questions and cries for help and justice.

• When there is no sign of life or a pathway forward, God is intentionally guiding us through situations that are difficult and scary to navigate.

Be honest with God. Trust Him to navigate your path.

His coming is as brilliant as the sunrise.

where his awesome power is hidden.
