Whoever gives to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to poverty will be cursed.

These are more proverbs of Solomon, collected by the advisers of King Hezekiah of Judah.

Proverbs 25:1

Be a whoever.

• Seeks the Lord finds life.
  For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the LORD.
  Proverbs 8:35
• Learns from correction is wise.
  Only a fool despises a parent’s discipline; whoever learns from correction is wise.
  Proverbs 15:5
• Receives discipline and death when abandoning the right path.
  Whoever abandons the right path will be severely disciplined; whoever hates correction will die.
  Proverbs 15:10
• Follows the good path is safe.
  The path of the virtuous leads away from evil; whoever follows that path is safe.
  Proverbs 16:17
• Finds life, righteousness, and honor when pursuing righteous and unfailing love.
  Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor.
  Proverbs 21:21
• Finds life when avoiding corrupt people
  Corrupt people walk a thorny, treacherous road; whoever values life will avoid it.
  Proverbs 22:5
• Will lack nothing when giving to the poor
  Whoever gives to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to poverty will be cursed.
  Proverbs 28:27
• Will be destroyed when refusing criticism.
  Whoever stubbornly refuses to accept criticism will suddenly be destroyed beyond recovery.
  Proverbs 29:1
• Will be joyful will obeying the law, risk running wild when refusing divine guidance.
  When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.
  Proverbs 29:18
