• Isaiah’s prophecy looks to the day that we look to as well: “that day”.
• This passage is a reminder to us that we often come to the Bible with a “worldly lens”.
• We think of a city as bad. Sin is bad, the city of God is not.

• The Lord had founded for us a city of defense; a place of refuge.
• We have a strong city.
• We have come to the city through Jesus.
• We will dwell forever without fear of danger.

Be ready for “that day”…make sure I am faithful in His call to build the “city of God”, and not the “city of mankind”…only one is eternal.
