But Jehu did not obey the Law of the LORD, the God of Israel, with all his heart. He refused to turn from the sins that Jeroboam had led Israel to commit.

But Jehu paid no attention to walking in the law of the LORD, the God of Israel, with all his heart. He did not quit the sins with which Jeroboam made Israel to sin.

Even then, though, Jehu wasn’t careful to walk in God’s ways and honor the God of Israel from an undivided heart. He didn’t turn back from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who led Israel into a life of sin.

But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the Lord God of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.

I can’t have a divided heart
Pay attention… be careful…take heed to obey the whole counsel of God and completely follow His instructions to me.
Jehu shows us that is possible to be obedient, but not be in continual faithful fellowship God.

Jehu carried out God’s will, but he

Holy Spirit, help me to walk in continual fellowship with God so I will know fully what He wants me to do. Give me the courage to not stop short of full obedience.
