Honor the LORD, you heavenly beings honor the LORD for his glory and strength. Honor the LORD for the glory of his name. Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.
Psalm 29:1-2
“This psalm has no other elements. It is pure praise. It does not call upon us to do anything because the psalm itself is doing the only thing it is concerned about. It is praising God.” – James Montgomery Boice

The LORD
Yet, God’s powerful majestic voice that splits, strikes, shakes, and twists, does so very often in a whisper. Powerful doesn’t mean shout.
- These are just the beginning of all that he does, merely a whisper of his power. Who, then, can comprehend the thunder of his power?”

My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.”
Psalm 27:8
Oh, I love this… for several reasons.
- David said, “My heart heard you.”
- David knows God’s voice.
- God said, “Talk with me.” (Implies relationship and dialogue)
- David responds, “I’m coming.”
Praise Him for the great things He has done.
