Psalm 144:15b
Happy and blessed are the people who are in such a case; yes, happy (blessed, fortunate, prosperous, to be envied) are the people whose God is the LORD!
Psalm 144:15 (AMPC)
God is our Lord through our faith in Jesus Christ. The degree to which we are joyful in His Lordship is directly dependent on our:
- Submission to Spirit’s work, which is accomplished through intimacy and humility

John 10:27
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.
1 Peter 5:6 NLT
- Reliance on Spirit’s power, which is accomplished through trusting Him
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
Acts 1:8 (ESV)
- Filling with Spirit’s manifest presence, which is accomplished through obedience to Him
The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.]
John 14:21 (AMPC)
