How does believer avoid again?

So, here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out

Don’t become well-adjusted to the culture around you.

• Do not live according to the customs of the people I am driving out before you. It is because they do these shameful things that I detest them.

Make your life an offering to God.

• O Israel, listen: Jehovah is our God, Jehovah alone.  You must love him with all your heart, soul, and might.

Fix your attention on God.

• You shall have no other gods before me.

Jephthah came from a dysfunctional home.

Gilead’s wife also had several sons, and when these half-brothers grew up, they chased Jephthah off the land. “You will not get any of our father’s inheritance,” they said, “for you are the son of a prostitute.”

Avoid the agains , but life in continual gratitude that when I have an again, I will be forgiven again.
