Scripture:

NUMBERS 2:1-3:51

The Center

When the Israelites set up camp, each tribe will be assigned its own area. The tribal divisions will camp beneath their family banners on all four sides of the Tabernacle, but at some distance from it.
Numbers 2:2

My Take Aways

Something Old

Some things should never change… God should be at the center of everything.

Order our lives…

  • Making choices that we know will please.
  • Partaking in activities that we know will honor Him.
  • Obeying what He asks us to do.
  • Aligning our lives with His will and His Word.

His Presence now, dwells in us, but it’s up to us to keep Him in the center.

  • So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,
    John 8:31 (ESV)
  • Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.
    John 15:4 (ESV)
  • As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.
    John 15:9
  • If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
    John 15:10 (ESV)
  • By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
    1 John 4:13 (ESV)
  • Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
    2 John 1:9 (ESV)

Who or what is the center of my life?

Something New

I wonder what my family banner would look like.

Something To Do

Jesus, be the center of my life. I pray everything I do centers around You.
