Then he hung the curtains forming the courtyard around the Tabernacle and the altar. And he set up the curtain at the entrance of the courtyard. So at last Moses finished the work.

Moses could no longer enter the Tabernacle because the cloud had settled down over it, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle.

The thought still, and I pray will always overwhelm me.

What happens when we complete our God assignment?

We can be confident that He will be pleased if we:

• Follow His instructions to the best of our understanding, and seek Him when we need clarification.
  Therefore be imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father].
  Ephesians 5:1 (AMPC)
• Keep a happy heart and cheerful disposition while we complete the assignment.
  Do everything without complaining or arguing so that you will be blameless and pure, children of God without any fault.
  Philippians 2:14-15a (ERV)

Or

Do we accept His pleasure, but offer arguments such as:

• “Well, I finished, but it didn’t turn out like I expected.”
• “Well, I finished, but people didn’t attend.”
• “Well, I finished, but no one seems to care.”

When we obey, He blesses… that’s what happens. We are responsible for the obedience, not what happens afterward.

Be faithful to complete the assignment I am assigned. Receive His pleasure without rebuttal or excuse. Never take credit or glory.
