In Him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Colossians 2:3

What a secret and an assurance!For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing His glory.

Colossians 1:27

““Hidden” does not, however, mean that they are concealed, but rather that they are laid up or stored away as a treasure.” – Vaughn

Conceal and hidden are so close in meaning, but there is a slight difference

• Conceal implies it deliberate; something it being kept away on purpose; not invitation to find
• Hidden implies intrigue and interest; offers an invitation to find

Stored away until

• we find them.
• we are spiritually ready to receive them.
• until the day of redemption.

Seek what He has stored ways, and trust Him to show me the treasures when I’m ready for them.

• And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.

• You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

Blessed assurance Jesus is mine; He has treasures just for me, and like a great Father will allow me to have them when I am ready.
