Then I heard a mighty voice from the Temple say to the seven angels, “Go your ways and pour out on the earth the seven bowls containing God’s wrath.”

Revelation 16:1

Together they will go to war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them because he is Lord of all lords and King of all kings. And his called and chosen and faithful ones will be with him.”

• Bowls: wrath of God
• As a result of humanity’s sin and rebellion, seven bowls of wrath are poured out.
• Each of the bowls represents the destruction of something God made in Genesis 1 and 2; they also correspond to the plagues of Egypt.
• Bowl 1: Sores; Humanity Day 6, Boils Plague 6
• Bowl 2: Seas of blood; Waters above and below Day 2, Fish Day 6
• Bowl 3: River of blood; Plague 1
• Bowl 4: Scorching sun; Sun and moon Day 4
• Bowl 5: Darkness; Plague 9
• Bowl 6: War
• Bowl 7: God’s wrath
• Bowl 7 corresponds to John 19:30 and Matthew 27:51
• Revelation is the bookend to Genesis.
• God will complete everything He begins.
