But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift.

Romans 5:15a

In Romans 5:15-19 we discover the following:

One man disobeyed                                  One man obeyed

One man, Adam’s sin                                One man, Jesus, God’s gracious gift

Brought death to many                          Brought forgiveness to many

Led to condemnation                               Leads to righteousness with God

Caused death to rule                                Cancelled death for all who believe

Our response to all Jesus did for us?

Jesus made us as right with God as we need to be.

I’ve always wonder why sin Adam, not Eve is responsible for bringing sin to mankind. After all these years of studying the Bible, how did I not know the answer to this?

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.
1 Timothy 2:14 (NKJV)

Adam knew better; Eve was deceived.
