Meanwhile, Peter followed him at a distance and went right into the high priest’s courtyard. There he sat with the guards, warming himself by the fire.

When the “I told you so” whisper of Jesus’ words echoed in Peter’s head, gave a stern wake-up call to his true devotion to Christ. His weeping was a sign up of conviction.
Peter was:
All this and the prophetic words of Christ had to coming crashing in him. At this moment, he had a decision to make.
Following Jesus at distance, is spiritually dangerous, and is a true reflection of devotion to Him.
Am I follower of Christ only when:
Something awesome must have happened in that moment and ones to follow. Peter must have decided to be all in, because he was in the room with the other disciples when Mary came running with the news of the empty tomb. And he had an amazing encounter at the fish breakfast before Christ’s ascension.
Peter’s denial proved:
