John 14:5-6

• At the Last Supper, Jesus tells Simon that a test was coming, not just for him but for all the disciples.
• Luke 22:31 “each of you” is plural.
• Satan is the adversary and accuser.
• Satan’s goal was to crush the disciples.
• Jesus intercedes on Simon’s behalf that his test would become his testimony before his brothers.
• Jesus did not remove the test.
• Jesus predicted that Simon would fail the test.
• Jesus prayed that Simon would repent, return, and strengthen his brothers.
• When we fall, we are not alone.
• We stand up and join others in running the race of endurance.
• 2 Corinthians 1:6
• We are not perfect.
• We fall.
• We repent.
• We get up.
• We keep going.
• We encourage each other with our testimonies.
• Jesus strengthens us by interceding.
