What have I

• exaggerated to the Lord and to others to get the attention I want?
• sacrificed on the altar of the immediate due to my attitude and impulsivity?
• done with my rights as a child of God?

What am I willing to trade for the fullness of my Father’s blessings?

Hold on to what is most important… which are the things of God. Don’t trade them for anything.

That no one is sexually immoral or unholy like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal.
Hebrews 12:16 (ESV)

Why didn’t Isaac ever confront, really grill Jacob about what he did? Attitude wells up inside me when someone isn’t held accountable for their actions.

Walk so closely with God that I wouldn’t be tricked to made a bad trade for God’s plan for my life.
