When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Now go out where it is deeper, and let down your nets to catch some fish.”
Luke 5:4
- Do I waste time and energy trying to reason with God about why what He is asking me to do makes no sense?
Or this the better question, - How often do I waste time and energy trying to reason with God about why what He is asking me to do makes no sense?
Or maybe this is the better question - How often to I miss being awestruck by God because I’m too busy reasoning with Him?
I don’t know more about:
- myself than God knows about me.
- success than God knows about success.
- about anything than God knows about everything.
Obedience is the right answer, even if the net is empty when I pull it out of the water.
Often God ask us to do something that exceeds and transcends human limitations.
If we don’t obey, we will miss the “big catch.”
How many people saw the big catch miracle?
Don’t reason with God, there is too much at stake.
