An Honorable Mention

When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife.

My Takeaways

Something Old

This is what we know about Joe: (Joseph)

Heard from God.
Obeyed God.
Honored His commitments.
Respected the law of the Lord.
Had self-control.

Even if I am only an honorable mention in the history of Kingdom (Of which I am MORE than OK with), make sure I’m mentioned for being fully committed to God, His glory, and His Kingdom.

If I’m gonna be mentioned, I want to mentioned well.

Something New

John grew up and became strong in spirit. And he lived in the wilderness until he began his public ministry to Israel.
Luke 1:80

Another great Biblical example of God using the wilderness to draw us close to Him and ready us for service. (Moses, Joshua, and David)

Something To Do

I don’t have to be mentioned by others to be recognized by God.
