• In the last verses of Malachi, God tells that He will send one to prepare the way.
• Luke 1:16-17
• John the Baptist would prepare the way for the coming of Jesus.
• John would preach repentance.
• Turning from something and turning to Someone.
• God has extended mercy.  
• God has turned His heart to us in Jesus Christ.
• We turn our hearts to Him in repentance.
