From Judah will come the cornerstone, the tent peg, the bow for battle, and all the rulers.
Zechariah 10:4

Though God is displeased with Israel’s shepherds, He will raise up the perfect shepherd from and for Judah.

This perfect Shepherd is our perfect Shepherd in John 10.

• the tent peg: holding all things securely

The Lord will whistle.! How fun is that! I wonder what kind of whistle it will be; maybe with two fingers and very loud, like when Holly Golightly heralded a cab in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

I would love to hear the Lord whistle.

When I whistle to them, they’ll come running, for I have bought them back again. From the few that are left, their population will grow again to former size.
