Can Christian be possessed by a demon?

He has power, but not authority.

Demons can’t possess the Christian, but they oppress, suppress, and mislead the Christian.

• Oppress: to lie heavy on (the mind, imagination, etc.)
• Suppress: to keep in or repress (a feeling, smile); to hold in check; restrain
• Mislead: to lead or guide wrongly; lead astray; to lead into error of conduct, thought, or judgment to deceive

Here’s what jumped off the page at me today?

Judas looked right at Jesus and at the bread anyway. Take a minute to think about this.

Satan heard Jesus answer the question regarding who would betray Him, “Jesus responded, “It is the one to whom I give the bread I dip in the bowl.” And when he had dipped it, he gave it to Judas, son of Simon Iscariot” John 13:26

And

Ate the bread anyway.

We are often time, even if it is a split second, to make the right decision, to not sin, not betray our Lord. The questions are:

• Do I look at Him and eat the bread anyway?
• What is my response to the bite?

Did Jesus consider His life a trial, or that it was one trial after another?
