A Lot Can Happen On A Walk

That same day two of Jesus’ followers were walking to the village of Emmaus, seven miles from Jerusalem.

My Takeaways

Something Old

Why don’t we recognize God?

Then Jesus said to them, “You foolish people! You find it so hard to believe all that the prophets wrote in the Scriptures.“
Luke 24:25

Foolish [lack of understanding] and unbelieving [not enough faith to trust]

God will meet me where I am to give me understanding and help me believe.

We need to keep:

walking with Him.
believing in Him.
trying to understand all things about Him.

We will:

See it when we are supposed to see it.
Know it when we are supposed to know it.

He will reveal Himself:

where you least expect Him.
when you least expect Him
how you least expect Him.

Peter denied Jesus three times, and three times Jesus asked Peter, “Do you love me?”

Interesting.

Something To Do

I’m blessed because I believed without seeing Jesus. I needed to rub this truth into my marrow today.
