Preparation

This all happened on Friday, the day of preparation, the day before the Sabbath.
Mark 15:42

My Takeaways

Something Old

We have to believe God for the resurrection of anything we’ve deemed dead. He is Resurrection and Life of all things.

Something New

The women in the home prepared for the Sabbath and Passover.
(Followed the law)
The sacrifice had been prepared and slaughtered.
(Followed the law)
Jesus prepared away for anyone who believes in Him to live eternally with Him.
(Fulfilled the law)

This Lamb was crucified and buried, but rose again! He prepared the way for us. He is alive!

Since He prepared a way for me to be with Him:

I should prepare myself to be with Him.
I shouldn’t waste the way He made for me.

Thank You Jesus, You have saved my life. Help, Holy Spirit, to live this life worthy of the sacrifice made.

Thank Him, and worship Him, for the blood that was applied to your life.
