RTW 2022

This time I don’t want to make just a short visit and then go right on. I want to come and stay awhile, if the Lord will let me.
1 Corinthians 16:7

Do I stay where I am opposed for the cause of the Christ and the growth of the Kingdom?

In the meantime, I will be staying here at Ephesus until the Festival of Pentecost. There is a wide-open door for a great work here, although many oppose me.
1 Corinthians 16:8-9

God’s work will

• Be opposed. (Read Nehemiah and Ezra)
• Not always be welcome.
• Not always come with a written plan.

Beware

• Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

• Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

If the Lord lets me… it’s times like these we MUST know the voice of God.

I wonder why Apollos was not willing to go.

Now about our brother Apollos—I urged him to visit you with the other believers, but he was not willing to go right now. He will see you later when he has the opportunity.
