When Priscilla and Aquila heard him preaching boldly in the synagogue, they took him aside and explained the way of God even more accurately.

He searches and shows us God’s deepest secrets. I want to be trusted with them.

He refuted the Jews with powerful arguments in public debate. Using the Scriptures, he explained to them that Jesus was the Messiah.
Acts 18:28

Be teachable:

• The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.
  Proverbs 12:15 (ESV)
• If you ignore criticism, you will end in poverty and disgrace; if you accept correction, you will be honored.
  Proverbs 13:18
• If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise.
  Proverbs 15:31
• The ear that listens to life-giving reproof will dwell among the wise. Whoever ignores instruction despises himself, but he who listens to reproof gains intelligence.

A couple questions to think about:

1. What if Apollos had not received the feedback from Aquila and Priscilla?
2. How would I be more like Christ if I listened to feedback from the “Aquila and Priscillas” in my life?
