Scripture:

PSALM 68-70, PSALM 86, PSALM 101

Who Do I Magnify?

May those who love your salvation repeatedly shout, “God is great!”
Psalm 70:4b

My Takeaways

Something Old

Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.
Psalm 68:19

Selah: pause and think about that

Something New

May all those who seek, inquire of and for You, and require You [as their vital need] rejoice and be glad in You; and may those who love Your salvation say continually, Let God be magnified!
Psalm 70:4 (AMPC)

Great:
Gâdal (gaw-dal’): to make great, powerful; to magnify; praise

Magnification makes something bigger.

Who or what am I making bigger in my life?

Repeatedly:
Tâmı̂yd (taw-meed’): continually, continuously; without intermission or interruption

If I would repeatedly and continually magnify and make great the Great One, I wouldn’t have time to:

  • Make someone else great.
  • Make something else great.
  • Make myself great.

Something To Do

Magnify only the Lord, Wendy.
