Scripture:

NUMBERS 19:1-21:35

Look Up

Then the LORD told him, “Make a replica of a poisonous snake and attach it to a pole. All who are bitten will live if they simply look at it!”
Numbers 21:8

My Takeaways

Something Old

This is where I feel the Spirit leading is us regarding the bronze snake situation…

  • Looking to God is the only way I will be saved/delivered/led through, both eternally and situationally.
  • Live in a perpetual state of confession.
  • Sometimes what He asks me to do seems unusual, and even bit off. (I feel sure many refused to look at the snake and died.)
  • The very thing I’m refusing to do, could possibly be the means to my healing, restoration… the answer to my prayer.

What have I refused to do because it seems off or even silly that God wants to use for my salvation?

Look up, your salvation is near!

John 3:14-15: Jesus mentions this story about His own crucifixion

Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.
Isaiah 45:22 (NKJV)

God commands us to only trust in Him – to look to Him.

You have to take a minute to look at all the translations of Isaiah 45:22

Something New

Is it just me, do wilderness victories seem so much more victorious than non wilderness victories?

You have to fight so much harder, and your faith deepens so much more in the wilderness victories.

Something To Do

Look up Wendy, always look up.
