Thanksgiving literally, “the giving of thanks for God’s grace.
Specifically, praying for a specific, felt need – heart-felt petition, arising out of deep personal need (sense of lack, want)
Belief… in God, not the person, or situation Believe that God: is the giver of good things. (Matthew 7:11) would not give me anything harmful. (Matthew 7:9) can even if He doesn’t. (Mark 9:23-24) “If I can” healing the boy.
Trust that God knows best, and desires only the best for you.
Persistent The woman seeking justice from the King (Luke 18).

Humility Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. James 4:10 (NIV)
Authority Pray His Word. Pray His Name.
The What Ifs?
What if I don’t receive an answer when we want? Keep praying.
What if I don’t receive the answer that I want? Keep praying.
What if I don’t know what to pray? Keep praying
What if I am mad at God? Disappointed with God? Keep praying
What if God is silent? Keep praying… and possibly, be silent
Praying friends and family make a difference, it made a difference to Aaron.
Something To Do
Keep praying and remember some conversations need be kept just between me and One who has the power and wisdom to answer.
