Scripture:

ISAIAH 40:1-44:5

You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet

I am the LORD, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea.Isaiah 43:16But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
Isaiah 43:18

My Takeaways

Something Old

Khaw-dawsh: new: recently made or brought into being; fresh (not stale or deteriorated; newly made)

Let’s remember our past as:

  • A Schoolroom.
Every experience is a teachable moment. We can ask God to teach us His ways through our good and not so good old days.
  • Sovereignly Supervised.
Nothing happens without His permission. He is trust worthy to work all things together for good for all those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
  • A Stepping Stone.
Our past prepares us for what He has planned next. He began a good work in us, and is faithful to complete it; our past is part of the good work.

Something New

“But as for you, Israel my servant, Jacob my chosen one, descended from Abraham my friend.”
Isaiah 41:8

I can’t even imagine God writing such endearing words being about me, to be called God’s friend.

Something To Do

I love something new, always have, and especially when it from my Heavenly Daddy. Thank Him for His past faithfulness and future blessing.
